MT. AIRY, Md. (WBFF) – Family and friends of a man fatally attacked at the Great Frederick Fair gathered Friday to honor him.
John Weed, 59, of Mt. Airy died Saturday at Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital.
Two brothers are charged with assault in Weed’s death.
According to the Frederick County State’s Attorney one of the brothers asked Weed for a dollar when the situation turned physical.
The State’s Attorney confirmed the 16-year-old punched Weed, and then his 15-year-old brother delivered what ended up being a fatal punch.
