FREDERICK, Md. (WMAR) — A 59-year-old man has died after being attacked by two juveniles at the Great Frederick Fair Friday evening.

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says they found a white male, identified as 59-year-old John Marvin Weed of Mount Airy, on the ground unconscious near the midway area of the fairgrounds.

A helicopter transported Weed to a hospital, where he died late Saturday afternoon.

Numerous witnesses told investigators two black male juveniles assaulted Weed in an unprovoked attack.
