A mentally ill FedEx worker who stabbed a man while on a delivery run will spend 10 years behind bars for the crime.

Tyquan Bailey learned his fate in Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday.

Bailey, 23, pleaded guilty to attempted murder in October for knifing Jack Gindi, 28, multiple times in the back at a building on Fifth Ave. near 33rd St. on April 23, 2018.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ellen Biben acknowledged the severity of the incident and Bailey’s “serious mental illness” while doling out his sentence.

“This is perhaps not a perfect solution,” Biben said. “We are not yet fully evolved in how we are treating and finding services to prevent these kinds of tragedies.”
