CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) – A Houston County grand jury indicted the four suspects in a sexually charged home invasion robbery that occurred in the 100 block of Park Place on June 12.
Jay Barrett, 17, of Highlands, Xavier Alazae Deshawn Mitchell, 17, of Baytown, Fabian Xavier Vasquez, 17, of Baytown, and Jose Vasquez, 19, of Houston, were all indicted on aggravated robbery charges. Mitchell was also indicted on an indecency of a child charge.
Mitchell is still at large at this time. According to Houston County records, he has not been booked to the jail on those charges yet. Anyone with any information that could lead to his arrest is urged to call the sheriff’s office at (936) 544-2862 or call Crime Stoppers at 9936) 363-TIPS.
The other three suspects were arrested in Kentucky on June18. They were caught in the act of committing a burglary, the affidavit stated.
