A woman who sliced a stranger’s throat open after he asked her to stop berating the staff at an Oregon Taco Bell has been sentenced to seven years behind bars.
Caley Mason, 22, pleaded guilty last month to second-degree assault in the attack of 48-year-old Jason Luczkow, who had been at the restaurant with his wife when he tried to stop Mason’s expletive-laced tirade against the restaurant’s staff and ended up with an eight-inch-long gash from his ear to his Adam’s apple, requiring more than 100 stitches, according to The Oregonian.
“It’s gruesome. It looks like I’m dead,” Luczkow said of the grisly injury, adding that the stab wound missed his carotid artery by just millimeters.
