The attorney prosecuting the man charged for the murder and kidnapping of Pasqalina Badi says the death penalty is on the table as the case moves forward.
Lincoln County State’s Attorney Thomas Wollman announced the decision during a Lincoln County commissioner’s meeting Tuesday morning, stating the case rises to the level of a capital murder trial.
Amir Hasan Beaudion, Jr., 19, of Sioux Falls, was charged Monday with first degree murder in the death of Badi, a 20-year-old Sioux Falls woman. Beaudion appeared in court in Lincoln County on Tuesday, with the judge entering a not guilty plea on his behalf.
